After the Earthquake: A Conversation with Mayors

Join us for an insightful conversation with Turkish mayors, who will share their experiences leading their cities in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey and Northwest Syria on February 6th this year. We will delve into the challenges faced by local governments in meeting the immediate and long-term needs of their communities. Discover response and recovery strategies in the wake of a natural disaster.

This conversation will be a platform to understand how affected cities–their mayors, administrators, and citizens alike–joined together to confront an unforeseen situation. The conversation will expand to also highlight the impact and best practices of Turkish cities that provided support in the aftermath of the earthquake.
