Details
Under the theme “Local and Regional Governments driving high-impact actions to accelerate common goals”, the Executive Bureau will discuss the work programme and implementation of the Pact for the Future. It will further offer the opportunity to participants in-person to attend the Brussels Urban Summit.
The Policy Debate, which will serve as an umbrella of the formal session of the Bureau on 15 June, will integrate a summary and reflection on the Future Envisioning Exercises held in May, as a space of dialogue and co-creation in which the UCLG political leadership, together with organized civil society and partners articulated in the UCLG Town Halls, will aim to reach real and tangible conclusions through forward-looking consultations around four Entry Points to unfold the Pact for the Future:
- Reclaiming the Commons
- Redefining Finance and Economy
- Regaining Trust
- Rebuilding Governance Architecture
The Business Session of the Bureau will be articulated in different segments, during which all the items will be presented and the synergies between our policy strategies will be highlighted:
- Policy highlights and strategic priorities
- Institutional issues
