Local Authorities Major Group Side Event (LAMG) gathered within the Global Taskforce of Local and Regional Governments

The LAMG official HLPF side event will focus on strengthening multilateralism and how to support systems of service provision to ensure their sustainability in the aftermath. It will also address rising inequalities exacerbated by COVID-19 and discuss how protecting those most vulnerable as well as strengthening their access and protection of health services, advancing resilience through climate action, and fostering culture are key to an equitable recovery.
