️🎯 Description:

The Policy Debate on “Resilient and Regenerative Territories: Renaturing” must confront the fact that due to our unsustainable and destructive systems of production and consumption, the world is currently exceeding its planetary boundaries and yet billions of people still do not have access to the most basic services. In order to address the triple crisis of climate emergency, biodiversity loss and environmental pollution and damage, our Constituency proposes to transform the collective relationship with nature; decouple human wellbeing from a growth-centered economy. This debate should touch on the topics of innovative public action, models of green growth and de-growth, regeneration of loss and damages, ensuring justice within ecological transitions, among others. All while maintaining proximity as a lever for sustainable and equality-driven life-enabling systems.
