Changes at "Global Taskforce Annual Meeting"

The Annual Meeting of the Global Taskforce of Local and Regional Governments will be looking at the GTF’s joint work program and the international agenda of 2025. This annual meeting will focus on reviewing the achievements of the past years, assessing priorities, and exploring upcoming milestones, including the Commission on the Status of Women, the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development, the United Nations Oceans Conference, the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development 2025, the Mondiacult Conference, the United Nations Habitat Assembly, the World Summit for Social Development, the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference, and the United Nations Environment Programme Assembly.
Additionally, it will address other intergovernmental processes, the follow-up of the Pact for the Future, and the recommendations of the United Nations Secretary-General's Advisory Group on Local and Regional Governments. A dedicated segment will also focus on Local2030, highlighting its role in advancing the localization of the Sustainable Development Goals.
