The session will serve as a collaborative space to co-create and define the essential priorities that must be addressed in preparation for the World Social Development Summit. Anchored in the principles of the Local Social Covenant, it will focus on housing, culture, conflict prevention, finance, public health, climate justice, food systems, and zero hunger, alongside thematic pillars such as caring territories and anti-racism.

By fostering inclusive dialogue and leveraging a multistakeholder and multilevel approach, this session aims to solidify high-level political commitments, promote meaningful youth participation, and outline actionable pathways for present and future generations. Through collective input, participants will shape a universal platform that connects local and regional governments with civil society and stakeholders, ensuring these critical issues are central to the global development agenda.

Concept note of the session and and the Discussion Paper prepared by W. Cobbet on " Reinforcing the Pacts for the Future".
